Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • identity and contact data, such as your name, business email and correspondence;
  • business and professional data, including company name, role, industry, jurisdictions, expected volumes, timing and infrastructure needs;
  • information you choose to provide about account closures, provider relationships, compliance issues or your current banking and payment challenge;
  • records of consultations, requests, introductions and engagement history; and
  • technical and security data made available by our hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, requested pages and access logs.

Please do not send passwords, private keys, full payment card data, unnecessary identity documents or sensitive personal data through the initial website enquiry.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity of the processing and its impact on your rights. You may object as described below.

Who receives your data

We may use professional advisers and service providers for hosting, email, form delivery, security, document management and business administration. Website enquiries are delivered through FormSubmit. Service providers receive only the data needed for their function and are subject to appropriate contractual or legal duties.

Partner introductions

We do not share the substance of your consultation with a bank, processor or other provider before you approve the proposed introduction. Once approved, we share only the information reasonably needed to assess fit, open a dialogue or support onboarding. The provider will normally act as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, competent authority, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our infrastructure, advisers or requested partner network may involve countries outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR transfer restrictions apply, we use an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Provider introductions outside the EEA are made only with your involvement.

Retention

Initial enquiries and related correspondence are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless you ask for earlier deletion or a longer period is justified. Engagement, accounting, compliance and dispute records are retained for the period required by applicable law or reasonably needed to establish or defend legal claims, typically up to seven years. We may retain minimal suppression data to honour an objection.

Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not use the website enquiry to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Send requests to hello@unblockedfinance.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or the supervisory authority in your country of residence or work.

Cookies and website technology

Strictly necessary security, access control or load balancing technology may be used by our hosting infrastructure to deliver and protect the website. This technology is limited to what is required to provide the requested service.

With your permission, we load the Google Ads tag supplied by Google LLC to understand whether an advertisement led to a completed consultation booking. This may involve online identifiers, advertising click information, device and browser information, page URLs, referrer information and the fact that a booking was completed. We do not send the contents of the consultation form to Google. Google may process this information in countries outside the European Economic Area under its applicable data protection terms and transfer safeguards.

The Google Ads tag does not load unless you select “Allow measurement”. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time through the “Privacy settings” button. Declining measurement does not affect the website or booking calendar. See Google’s own privacy information for details about its processing.

Security, children and updates

We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, but no online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. The website and consultancy are intended for business users aged 18 or over and are not directed to children.
